I do know that my right front wheel speed sensor is shorted, found this out while doing logs after a recent tune. Showed I was going 360km/h when all the other wheel sensors showed I was doing 60km/h. Car was fine other than not having ABS and traction control due to this issue but soon returning to my tuners shop a few days later and doing an E85 tune all 4 wheel speed sensors are now showing this as well as the Speedo being disabled now. Is this just a wheel speed sensor issue? Or is this a wiring harness type of issue? Not too concerned as the car will be sitting for a year or more come February but I would like to get it solved before then.

Thank you, I had a feeling it was the Wheel speed sensor due to the data log, the only off thing was the I just lost traction control and abs for around a month and then suddenly everything else went when it came off the dyno lol. Already got a plan to look at it with my mechanic when I put the new exhaust tips on later this week. Thank you though.

I had this precisely same symptoms on my 2016 Nismo at ~ 8600 miles except it was intermittent and could be temporarily recovered by disconnecting battery - but not by clearing codes. The only code displayed through OBD reader we P0500. I took to dealer for diagnosis and Consult scan revealed long list of faults and low voltage being reported. They replaced battery under warranty.

The problem reoccurred within a week so I returned and let it running while it was in fault condition Besides running their diagnostic scan, they also unplugged ABS controller (which also manages traction control) and speedometer started working and other systems recovered - but not sure which ones In any case, they diagnosed it as defective ABS controller. Bad news was there was no replacement in any US stock, and they originally told me that it would be 12 weeks to get one built and shipped from Japan

On advice from my dealer, I escalated to Nissan Corp telling them this delay was unacceptable - especially since this affecting safety systems, and if they chose they could remove one from production line and have it to my dealer within a week. This did not make much of a difference, as they were still saying the best they could do was 10 weeks. However, they ultimately replaced it ~60 days after the 2nd diagnosis and this did in fact fix the problem.

Although they did not tell me this, the issue was that the ABS controller had a fault which was loading the CAN bus which resulted in all the other reported system failures.

I am having the same problem right now. I was given a vehicle speed sensor which is supposed to go on the transmission, but I dont see a sensor that matches this one. I have a base model 370z and I read in one of the post that there is not one on the base model only sport+. If it is a bad wheel sensor, how do you find out which one. The only OBD2 code is p0500 1. Vehicle Speed Sensor A 2. Vehicle Speed Sensor/Circuit MTR.

My TPMS light is also on and that has 8 codes:
u1000 CAN Communication Circuit
U0415 Vehicle Speed
B2557 Vehicle Speed
B2607 (Past) S/L Relay
B260A (Past) Ignition Relay
B260F (Past) Engine State Signal Lost
B2612 (Past) S/L Status
C1729 Vehicle Speed Signal Error

Cleared those and it came back to
U0415, B2557, and C1729

Any help pinpointing the issue?
