Siphoning Possible?

I was unable to siphon when I accidentally filled half the tank with 87 just using a generic siphon pump. See this thread/post (below) another member was able to do

I was unable to siphon when I accidentally filled half the tank with 87 just using a generic siphon pump. See this thread/post (below) another member was able to do it with a more specialized pump.
