Was the aluminum level high before? What motor oil and oil filter are you using?

I'll post my chart & let you compare; though my Z is gone.
I used ethanol free 93 octane fuel & it said my lead was high/as if i had run some leaded racing fuel.

According to Nissan the best choice is to run a ester enriched motor oil like Motul or Redline etc. with a quality oil filter preferably with synthetic media. It also matters what fuel you are using? Using only a top tier gasoline is highly recommended by Nissan. When I found this out I started using top tier Chevron and Texaco as soon as possible. It seems you will find a lot of the gasoline companies have mixed a percent of ethanol in their gasoline’s.

I've had great results using Castrol Edge Titanium 5w30. I bought the car with 60,000 miles and have been using that since. I did switch to Mobil1 0w40 on this current interval. I'll see how the two compare when I get this oil change sample report.

Your oil sample report looks pretty good. I would stick with 5W30 though. Even though you could pull it off with Mobil 1 or Castrol synthetic motor oil I would never recommend going 8500 miles between oil changes. I would change my motor oil more frequently like every 4000-5000 miles if it were my VQ.

Ours looks just about the same. But our usage of oils are completely different.

This last sample was Mobile 1 0w40 compared to my first Castrol Edge 5w30. At the moment, I am running Castrol Edge 0w40 European formula.
