Default Weird start ups

Sup guys, I got a 13’ 370 about 3 months ago, loving it. Recently its been doing this weird thing when i start it up where it cranks up and then the engine bogs back down after about a second after all the gauges do their little up-down dance and sounds like ita about to turn back off, yesterday it actually did turn back off after start up and I had to turn it off via the button and then start it up again and it cranked fine.
Is it maybe the battery? Or an issue with the ignition? Probably going to get the battery checked out tomorrow morning but Any help will be appreciated, thanka

Sounds more like MAF sensor to me, based on what you've written. Tried cleaning them yet? I'd do that and maybe clean the Throttle Bodies while I was at it.

Cleaning the MAFs is an easy job - even for a new mechanic. Remove two screws per MAF, pull MAFs out of duct, spray MAFs with cleaner, let dry, replace MAFs.

Checking battery voltage is even easier but will require two people. Check volts at battery when car is off. Check volts at battery while car is cranking. I don't remember the numbers you should get - Google is your friend.

I agree sounds like dirty MAF, same thing happened to my G37 last year. Here is a DIY that may be helpful.

Somewhere in the thread also includes steps to reset ECU to correct high idle after cleaning.

^Sounds like your MAF sensor is dirty and needs to be cleaned. I cleaned my MAF sensor when I did my last oil change and it was abit dirty and needed to be cleaned.
