First thing I'd check is the clutch master cylinder. Only because it's much cheaper and easier than dropping the transmission. Plus, I've had my CMC fail exactly like your describing.

First thing I'd check is the clutch master cylinder. Only because it's much cheaper and easier than dropping the transmission. Plus, I've had my CMC fail exactly like your describing. Put a new one in, bled the system, and it was fixed. That was with the Z1 CSC kit installed, too.
