Just dont. Not worth it. Get a proper pulley like ATI when you actually need it.

I've had my crank and alternator pulley for years and have no issues. I recently replaced my belts and the pulleys are in great shape. Yes there were reports of failures from members. Updated versions from NST (thicker arms) were produced. As synolimit stated, you do have a lot of options available though.

I really can't see how pulleys could be worth the hassle. The AC disengages itself when you are full throttle, the alternator is only putting out the power you need from it which isn't much, and the PS pump can't be more then a few HP total. Running a 15% under-drive would save barely 1HP which then needs to go through the drive line losses. It would be more effective both cost and performance wise to throw out the spare tire and get a AAA gold membership. In the past, like 40 years ago when you had a lot more running on the belt that were inefficient and with a lower power engine (210HP V8) to start it was beneficial for using an under-drive for a small but noticeable performance boost.

Now if you have done every possible thing else to improve performance, then maybe consider installing it.
