Best place to pass wires from the engine to the interior
Hi all,
As usual, sorry for my english... Due an installation, I'm trying to pass a pair of wires (and a small vacuum hose) from the engine to the interior of the car (to the fuse box at the left of the clutch pedal), but I not found any hole or place to do it... Where is the best place to pass these wires from the engine to the interior (or viceversa) in a 370z Nismo 2016? Thank you in advance,

There is one on the passenger side. Near the battery. You may be able to find more info in one of the audio install threads.

Yes, there's a large grommet on the passenger side in the battery compartment that you can pass wires through. You will need to remove the passenger side cowl cover and the battery surround as well the battery itself to get proper access to it. Others have warned not to remove the grommet since it can be difficult to re-seat it properly, resulting in water leaks into the passenger side footwell. Best to leave the grommet in place and thread the wires through the opening that the existing wires pass through. This may be challenging, but can be done. (Actually, I lost patience and ended up cutting a small slit in the grommet with a sharp scalpel that I passed a couple of 22G wires through from an oil pressure sensor and then sealed it with some RTV sealant. There's been no water leaks). Evidently, there is another grommet in the firewall on the driver's side, but I think that you would need to remove the clutch master cylinder and clutch fluid reservoir to access it, and I'm not sure how wide it is. Again, this can be done, but can be a PITA. I know since I've replaced the clutch MC a couple of times.

Thansk for the replies!
Finally I found the grommet and I completed the installation (an Armytrix Valvetronic exhaust system) following your indications, thank you! Regards,
