P0300 Code Need Help!

So the p0300 code just popped up the other day which is a random cylinder misfire.. First of all, I have a Fi catback and Fi long tube headers followed

Default P0300 Code Need Help!

So the p0300 code just popped up the other day which is a random cylinder misfire.. First of all, I have a Fi catback and Fi long tube headers followed by stillen gen 3 intakes and an uprev tune which I got done 2 weeks ago..
After this tune everything was running great, until the service engine light started flashing.. the other day we changed my spark plugs , which originally had the code off for 2 days and it was running normal again. Then yesterday it came back on and car began to run sluggish again and threw the same code.. we smoked out the car and have no air leaks, any suggestions from here on? Thanks! Only have about 36k miles on the car btw.

I had the same problem as yours but no headers or tune. The plugs needed to be changed and it turned out I had bad gas. I put in a fuel treatment with a fresh fill and the problem went away. Quick edit: I'm only at 39k miles. Even more of a coincidence is we are both on the Island.

Ok thanks! And what type kind of fuel treatment did you use? And that's crazy we both live on the island lol..

That's because P0300 is kind of a catch-all code. It could be almost anything, or even nothing at all. Try cleaning the MAFs. It may work. Otherwise, there's a lot of threads here about the many possible culprits. I just had my tuner turn that one off. There's misfire codes for each cylinder, so we didn't really need the random code as an option for the ecu.

No its no sluggish at all. I'm going to clear the codes this weekend and see what else threw the code. Last time it told me which cylinders were misfiring.

I just cleaned my maf sensors and cleared the codes. We'll see if the light comes back on.

Did a quick search of the Net and came up with the following possible causes of a P0300 before I got tired of looking:
Faulty spark plug(s)
Faulty ignition coil(s)
Clogged or faulty fuel injector(s)
Intake air leak
Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted
Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection
Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection
Insufficient cylinders compression
Incorrect fuel pressure
Vacuum leak
EGR system malfunction
Low compression
Camshaft or Crankshaft sensor(s)
Faulty ECM
