Wawa and E89...
For a while now I've been planning on eventually getting some GT-R injectors and running E85 in my car once I get the rest of my exhaust done and my EcuTek maps all done. The E85 map would be Map 4 IIRC.
Well, a new Wawa just opened up down the street from me and I drove through there yesterday to see if they carried E85. To my surprise, they carry E89 instead! Oddly enough, I didn't catch the price... Anyway, I can't seem to find any info online about E89. Does anyone on here know anything about it? Do you use it on your Z? If that's what I will have readily available to me locally, is most likely an even higher octane than E85, still runs the engine cooler than regular 93 octane and Seb can tune my car for it, then I should be golden! Let me know what you guys have to say! Thanks!

Yeah, it's NOT what I thought it was. I went driving through there again just to make sure. This time, I actually drove up to the pump. It's just ethanol FREE 89 octane gas. Nothing special at all. Damn.

You can run any blend of E you can get your hands on so long as you stay within a reasonable percent that the car was tuned for. Personally I dont get my panties in a bunch if the blend is within 10% from what I tuned on.
Or you can add flex fuel tuning and then it just doesnt matter at all. |

Whenever I decided to run E85, I'll get the GT-R injectors first.
