Interior drain plug

What's up everybody! Thankfully it started raining here in Tennessee (wildfires are really bad), however this morning after about a 30 minute drive I noticed my floor mat was soaked.

Default Interior drain plug

What's up everybody!
Thankfully it started raining here in Tennessee (wildfires are really bad), however this morning after about a 30 minute drive I noticed my floor mat was soaked. I believe there is a drain plug under the drivers side seat and am going to take apart my interior tomorrow if so. I'll add a picture so you guys can see what's going on, it's a lot of water.
My question is does anyone know where the drain plug is if there is one? I tried researching but every time I type in interior drain plug it just pulls up oil drain plugs.

There isnt really a 'drain plug' there isnt supposed to be water on the floor. Check your AC drain plug(by passenger upper feet.

Also, pop the hood and inspect the firewall and make sure all the grommets are in good shape.

+1.

Your AC main have a big glob of green nasty fungus (descriptive enough?) that needs to be cleaned out.

I'm not understanding, where exactly is this nasty fungus stuff at? The ac drain?

I meant "your AC may".
Gunk can build up in your evaporator and/or drain line.

Just wanted to give everyone a update.
Went outside this morning and noticed a grommet was taken out of my firewall when they did audio work on my car. The grommet I'm referring to is the one under the brake fluid tab. I'm going to take it all the way out and drill a hole through it, feed the amp power line through it and silicone it up. Hopefully that will work. Thanks for the help guys I'll let you know if it fixes it for someone with this problem In the future.

I was wondering the same thing honestly. I'm still going to check the ac drain, it only seems to happen when it's raining. It's never happened while driving on a dry day with just the AC on.

I hate to bring this back from the dead but I'm still having some issues. I've confirmed it's not the AC drain plug, and the grommet in the fire wall has been fixed. I'm still having a lot of water that appears to be getting in from under the vehicle because I can't see where water has dropped down, it's just a puddle of water. Any other recommendations are greatly appreciated, I just finished my fall semester so I'll have a lot more time to work on the Z and hopefully get this handled without sending it to the dealership.

Edit- this morning after a hard rain/snow it was the worst I've ever seen it. Nearly 1.5- 2 gallons of water under my seat. It has to be coming from somewhere along the windshield or firewall.

Edit #2 found another grommet in the fire wall that was popped out. ( I'm the third owner of the z). This fixed my issue. It's pretty crazy I didn't think that much water could be coming from the firewall, but when I turned my heat on to defrost my front windshield, all that water perfectly streamed down past the popped out grommet and into the car. If anyone has this issue and have had audio work done in the past, the first place I would check is the firewall. Thanks for the help !
