Clutch slipping? Hard to tell (VIDEO)
This is the 2nd time today I noticed this, going into 3rd under heavy acceleration the clutch feels like it's slipping. First time today got bad clutch smell, but 2nd time(video) not as bad but same feeling. Only 9200mi on car, S/C for <2k mi. I rarely drive and when I do at most it's spirited and the occasionaly 2nd-4th pull,

Time for some new parts RJM CLUTCH PEDAL RJM MASTER CYLINDER Zspeed CSC delete CMAK clutch and flywheel of choice Your putting down a lot more power then a stock clutch can handle. A bolt on tuned N/A engine can over power a stock clutch

The best way to test a clutch is to put the car in 5th or 6th at 3,000 RPM and nail the throttle. If you hit redline in a few seconds, clutch is toast. - AND I suspect yours is.

Tried that and bit just stalled. Clutch is on its way out though:-(

Normally vehicle speed and engine speed increases proportionally. When clutch is slipping, engine speed will increase quickly while vehicle speed won't or much slower.
There will also likely be a nasty burnt smell (what's left of clutch disk overheating). Early part of your video suggests slippage. Unless you don't know how to drive or are abusing the car, no way should a clutch job be needed at 9K miles.

^^There was a member on the g37 site that had a SC in his coupe with the stock clutch/trans. He was a local guy too. I don't recall him having any issues burning it out. I suppose manner of driving plays a big role in this. If the engine is putting out ~400+ ft lb of torque, and is being accelerated aggressively often, I can see your point being quite valid.
As I get older, it seems I accelerate slower, but to a higher speed.
