Default SES Light and no Throttle after 2500RPM

So I have a 2014 Touring Coupe Sport. 24890 miles. Just bought and it isn't thrashed. My other posts on here paint the picture of how truly awesome this car was for 2 weeks before the oil change. I still have a factory warranty on it and it's currently in the dealership 3rd time and they have no clue why its throwing oil pressure SES and Limp Mode repeatedly.
The sequence of events leading up to this:
Bought car on July 16th and it ran beautifully for 9 days. It sat for 6 more. On the 15th day I had the oil changed. As soon as I went to leave the lube shop it bogged and choked and gave SES light and wouldn't throttle past 2500 RPM.
Dealership got car following day. They finally said I had 2 sheets of error codes and it keeps staying on low oil pressure. Nissan changed the oil and filter and swears that it was fixed. They tell me that the Lube shop might have turned it on while still low or empty - which I can assure was not the case as I was standing right there the whole time it was getting the change. I get in car after they fixed it and immediately get another SES light and a flickering brake light and the car won't throttle again past 2500rpm. Right back to the service drive.
I have read and read through this forum and from what I can tell - one of the codes was cam shaft sensors. Oil pressure sensor. MAF malfunction and the throttle body sensors are throwing it to wide open and not following pedal depressions.
Oil is definitely 5w30 full synthetic. NO ADDATIVES!!
Only other oddball thing is we had the bulbs in vehicle changed to LED - but there were resistors put on to stop fast blink.
Can anyone tell me what to tell these idiots what to look into???? They keep saying they reset it and car is fine. Today the car bogged choked again and is on yet a new SES light and low oil pressure code. They said this last visit they changed sensor. I didn't get 1 block from dealership and BANG!!!! Third time it has failed!!!!

MAF's are clean and clear and not coding.
The CAM sensors are clean and not coding.
Only the low oil pressure SES is back and yet no throttle past 2500RPM and the brake light is flickering.
The exhaust smells like fart and the cat O2's aren't throwing codes.

They keep resetting and telling me they can't find what's causing this.
Is there a possible blockage in the oil system or the cooler and it is seeing an intermittent period of low oil?? Are they chasing a ghost and the problem is on one of the 4 cam sensors?? Are the Throttle bodies the issue like I read on another post??

Please respond with any questions or thoughts so I can fully tell these goobers what to look into based on other 370Z driver's experiences.......

I never take my ~Z~ to the dealer; this is what I think about them.

There is no "low oil pressure" code... but if the VCT doesn't function properly it will declare a VCT code that may mean low oil pressure or VCT failure.

What is the exact code?

They haven't given me the exact code. I'll have them later today printed out so I can post that up for more details for everyone. They did call today and say it had something to do with the CAM positioning Sensors and/or Valve Position Timing sensor??? I just know of 4 sensors on the 4 corners of the top of the engine and the one on top back side that has an actuator on it.
They are also concerned about my Throttle bodies.

Anyway - they ordered some parts that are on a 3-5 day lead time and they also can't get the Oil light to clear.

I told them to clear out the cooler and the lines and really drain (and if able) flush the crap out of the motor.

I'm having this exact issue right now, and it is throwing a low oil pressure code which mine says P0524. If anyone can help me out with this I really appreciate it.

Josi - I'm headed to dealer now to get the info and items you'll want to address with your shop or yourself. My call a few minutes ago was verified that the 4 sensors located on the top 4 corners are in-fact coated in a syrupy film due to prior owner adding liquid mechanic crap before trading it in. They did mention one of my recent codes as P0600 and also P0534 or 24. I didn't hear him clearly on that part as I was driving.

But I will get the info up I hope tonight - otherwise I will have it tomorrow.

Default P0524 Code - Nissan TechLine - Resolved

So they managed to narrow it down. There is a line in the codes that throws for oil pressure. But there is also P0524 being thrown and a P0600.
The Nissan Tech Line and Master Tech at the dealer have now found the issue is just like others I have seen on here from prior posts with different descriptions.
The problem is now thought to be Intake Valve Timing/Positioning Solenoid failed or fouled.
The other parts associated are the 4 cam housing sensors. Also either failed or Fouled. The MSTR tech says one set barely moves like -5 to 5 and the other is stuck at +32 or 34.
The cause:
They believe that the owners before trading the vehicle in and me buying it, had added a ton of Restore Engine Compression fluid. Or they added RiSLONE engine compression additives. Probably trying to hide smoking issue which we are now addressing alongside this!!!! The fluids formed a skin and film on just about everything in the engine and cooked to a crust in some areas. It also narrowed the Oil Cooler lines and damn near clogged the cooler itself. What it really screwed up was the sensors in the heads and the intake valve timing solenoid.

FIX:
Have the Intake Valve Timing Solenoid replaced and the 4 cam housing sensors.
NEVER ADD/OVERFILL ADDATIVES TO THE NISSAN ENGINES. IT JACKS UP ALL THE SENSORS AND SERIOUSLY SCREWS UP THE COMPUTER!!!
Aside from the fact I'm getting all new parts and such.... IMO - just use high end motor oils that are fully synthetic. Maybe once every 15K use Motor Medic engine flush exactly as described on their label. But proper oil and frequent changes that's really not necessary on these motors.

WAIT!!!
Has anyone checked the oil pressure when warmed up to see if it is in spec? (14+ psi at idle with the engine oil temperature at 80°C (176°F)
If the rear timing cover gasket is leaking, it can cause this.

It is very odd the 4 sensors fail at the same time... The fix could be covered under warranty!!

Yes. They checked and I watched and I was at 16 to 18psi with needle bouncing near 20. Not often, but it was wobbly from 16 to 20 overall. I assume it was good. Temp was at 180 on temp sensor and tester and guage. Warranty is covering all of this so far....
They are replacing the 4 sensors as a precaution since they found the engine scumed up. The throttle position failed.
It kicked Thier butts for a week and a half.... I pick it up tomorrow and will thoroughly test this thing. Have 4700 in ships waiting to start installing and lost 2 weekends now....

Ok, good to hear about the oil pressure!

However, why would someone add an engine additive to hide "smoking" when the car is under warranty? Also, the "P0600" doesn't exist on the VQ37VHR (as far as I can see from the FSM)

Anyways, I hope the car is back to normal, but my gut tells me they are throwing parts at the problem and I hope I am very wrong!

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. I don't have a warranty from Nissan since I got the car at a Toyota dealer. Hopefully it's not gonna break my bank too much to replace these parts..

Are you sure? Unless it's different in the US, in Canada the manufacturer warranty follows the car no matter where it's purchased. In other words, you should still have a valid Nissan warranty until around 2018 (or '19) depending on when it was originally purchased.
