Do I have a lsd?
Sorry for the newbie question but I'm struggling to get a definitive answer. I've got a 2010 nismo and curious if it was standard lsd on the nismo. The previous owner swore it did NOT, found a comparison online that said yes, feels grabby at low speed like lsd, but the rear diff cover doesn't have cooling fins like many google images show.
If I jack it up and spin a tire will there be enough pressure for the viscous plates to grab and spin both forward? Short of removing the rear cover is there any way to tell for sure? I felt like this would've easy to find but my newbie skills are low apparently. Thanks in advance! Last edited by miniZilla; 07-20-2016 at 07:23 PM. |

All Nismo 370z's came with the VLSD. The only way it doesn't is if the previous owner removed it.

Come up to Toledo and run with NWOR at the Toledo airport. Giant concrete pad with tons of grip. A number of OVR people make the trip regularly for our airport events.

I'd love to come up for an event but with 2 kids under 2 I don't see getting a full day to play with cars, ha.
Sorry the trc course is setup as an employee event. It should be a good event though! |
