I got it working. I had to tighten everything up, then loosen up the hard line going to the master cylinder. I then had my wife slowly press the clutch

I had to tighten everything up, then loosen up the hard line going to the master cylinder. I then had my wife slowly press the clutch down, while I simultaneously open the line a little to let the bubbles escape. Then I would crack the slave bleeder and repeat. Once I got a good flow from the slave, I only would bleed the slave.
