Default which diff fluid for nismo

Did a search that ended in frustration so ...
Ill be changing the diff and trans fluid soon . The manual says the diff requires gl5 80w-90 which I cant find in synthetic ,I prefer redline. All I can find is mt85 . I think the weight is ok at 75w-85 but its gl4 not gl5 .Is this ok ? .
The trans will be getting redline 75w-90 .
Help is appreciated

edit. Anyone who read the original post Im sure was confused . Guess I had 1 too many beers when I composed it

Diff fluid is GL-5 75w90. Your transmission fluid GL-4 75w90. Both can be synthetic.

important u use right GL#, some trannys may have copper in them and GL5 has a negative effect on CU...not sure on 370z, just use whatever GL they say to.

I use MT85 for the 6MT.
75w90 for the differential.

Both Redline
Chuck33079 and Memphis370Z like this.

Redline mt85 for the trans. Diff gets amsoil 80w90, its a synthetic specifically labeled to replace fluids that specify a conventional oil, which is what my owner manual says...

I just had my diff serviced...Energy suspension bushings, Z1 high capacity finned diff cover, and I opted for Motul 75w140 competition synthetic.

I had Redline 75w85 in there before the upgrades; the major difference is....well, run your finger through water, then through pudding...the shifts feel smooth and more controlled.

Like butter.
