7AT - 7th gear isn't *locking*(?)
So I was driving on the freeway today and I noticed my RPM was unusually low for 80mph @ 7th gear.
Normally, the RPM would be at 2600ish, but last night, it was down to 1200. So I decided to gas it a little and the RPM shot all the way up to 3500 and the car still wouldn't accelerate. I pumped the pedal to see if it would "catch" at 2600 RPM and finally, it did after a few pumps. Torque converter not locking? I have no idea what is going on.
