I went with the clutch and lightweight flywheel combo with the 6 puck sprung disc. I also ordered a ZSpeed HD CSC and an OEM Master cylinder to go with the kit. Everything arrived fast and the kit was complete. Installation was a learning experience for me and fun for my friends taking selfies next to the transmission that needed to go back in my car. One installation note: the Z1 clutch line is not compatible with the Zspeed CSC. you'll need to buy Zspeed's stainless line. Just for refernence, I daily drive my car and use it at the track. We did all of the work at 60K miles (all original clutch, master, and slave were in use). After being on the system for 6K miles I've observed the following:
Overall, I rate this as an excellent product. If I were to rank this on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being track and 1 being street, this kit is about a 7.5. The pedal didn't feel very heavy, which is also a plus. Picture: ![]() Video on track. No slippage: |
