Anyone had bad experience with Zpeed heavy duty slave cylinder?
I heard lots of good reviews about Zspeed heavy duty slave cylinder.
Last week, we tried to install a clutch kit with the Zspeed HDCSC. Everything worked out smoothly. However, after we finished up everything and were trying to bleed the clutch. We found the bleeding screw on the slave cylinder won’t be able to seal the system. We tightened the screw as much as we could, but it leaked when we pumped the clutch pedal. No pressure could be build. We took a look at the bleeding screw. It seems the system supposed to be sealed by two pieces angled metal surface, much like tightening tapered lug nuts into the wheels. It’s hard for me to believe the system will be sealed without any rubber ring. Is there anyone else had same issue as I had or did I miss something during the installation? Thanks a lot! |

Give Joe at ZSpeed a call and I'm sure he'll get you straightened out. He's a good guy with a vested interest in the Z community.

Had mine in since November. No issues so far.
Joe installed the clutch, flywheel and slave at his shop. Definitely call him. He's not someone who like to have things fail. Very conscientious. |

You haven't talked to Joe yet? He's the best vendor out there in terms of customer service. These guys are right about him. I would definitely call him asap.

I like everything about the ZSpeed HD-CSC along with the new lines, but I wonder how long the bleeder screw will last. My tech had to put in more effort to tighten it hard enough so it won't leak, so there's some slightly worn out edges.
+1 to Joe@ZSpeed. One of the best vendors out there.

Correction: My Zspeed CSC did not fail. Was the clutch itself.
