You going to install them or someone else? The right is a breeze. About 1.5 hrs. The left side is a heart breaker. About 6 hrs. It's tight, have to remove the heat shield from the manifold and you have to disconnect the steering shaft from the rack & pinion. This is where people run into problems.

Personally, if I lived in a non CARB state, I would go with the F.I. long tubes. While not cheap ("that's why you work" ), they'll net the best gains. The best form, function & customer service.

REMEMBER THAT IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO BOOST YOUR CAR THAT HEADERS/EXHAUST/CLUTCH/FUEL INJECTORS ETC. WILL ALL HAVE TO BE UPGRADED ALONG WITH THAT UPGRADED BOOST KIT.

So for example if you get the FI long tube headers, make sure that you don't end up buying the headers again if you get an FI TT kit.

I wanna say it was about 20 gain when we did it. I don't remember exactly, but I am at 342 with stillen Gen 3, Z1 modded intake plenum, Z1/Momentum headers and test pipes and a bastardized invidia gemini with their resonators and 12" glass packs replacing the rear muffler section. Also have a Z1 tune.

BIG difference between FI LTH's and FI turbo exhaust manifolds. The turbo mounts on the manifold. So you need the manifolds. The LTH's Have to come off.

No plans for boost I'm staying N/A.. I just have really never found any answers on anyone who has them or what gains were had. if any. I know just about everyone like to bash shorty headers.. Just trying to decide if it's worth the 2000 grand roughly for Z1 headers and HFC and install..As I'm switching to ecutek in 2 months so if I'm going to get them now would be the time!
