Engagement point/clutch cable??
Hey guys searching through the forum and I can't find anything on this but I want to set up the clutch peddle closer to the floor if that makes sense. I feel like there's a lot of travel time from pushing in the clutch until it touches the floor. I hate it and want it to be closer with the engagement point being at the very top.
Anyone ever done something like this? What do you recommend? Is it a matter of the clutch cable being shorter or the spring? Thanks in advance for the info |

The engagement you have with the oem pedal is pretty much what you're going to get. I had this same problem. I installed the RJM AFP Clutch pedal and I was able to adjust it to where it was comfortable for me

Thank you! And I just found out there's no cables for the CSC. It's all hydraulic lines. Track member gave me some advice with the master cylinder and undoing the nut to shorten the rod some as well.

Not 100% if this would work on a 370z, but it worked on the 350z. DIY Clutch Stopper aka. free D-wolf Clutch Kit - MY350Z.COM Forums
Only costs about 3 bucks to do. It limits the travel of the pedal like you are talking about.

I do have the RJM kit and it's definitively a great mod, however i still have the long pedal travel. I'd like it to be shorter.

If you still have the long pedal travel which is definitely annoying, what is so great about the rjm mod?

The RJM clutch is definitively great... The friction point is perfect and its much easier to drive than OEM... I spoke to Ryan at RJM and he told me I could shorten pedal travel by re adjusting the clutch rod. Ima see how that works out

Ok, let me know how that goes. I want shorter pedal travel too.

by doing so, You will lower the clutch engagement point, but MAY also experience more notchy shift in between gears. you should do it alittle at a time. this is with the oem clutch pedal. I am not sure exactly how it works with the rjm pedal.
