Looks like a PCV valve or a device/part that belongs in the intake vacuum system. Does the engine run rather roughly? Is your brake pedal heavy with the engine running?

Isn't that the piece that goes between the intake tube and the intake manifold to vent for crank case pressure?

Just took a good look at my engine bay. It's PCV valve for the left bank. Clearly, one of the ports broke off. Don't drive the car without one. You may be able to glue the broken port back or get a new one, I assume it's a cheap part.

Oem not cheap because you have to buy the entire intake tube. Buy the valve from Z1 and call it a day. Happened to me and heard it is a common failure especially to those with after market intakes.
BeemaaZ and wanker like this.
