Default HELP! - Improper O2 Sensor Installation from Dealership

Last fall my vehicle was diagnosed with the wrong part number O2 sensor installed in the driver's side upstream position. The replacement with the correct part number was covered under warranty by the dealership.

After inspecting the work at my house on a ramp, I noticed that the dealership connected the O2 sensor to the engine wire harness, and then screwed the sensor into the exhaust, causing the wire to wrap around the hot part of the sensor.

I tried to trace the wire back to the harness to untwist it from underneath, but could not gain access to the connector. Would it be accessible if I took the driver side airbox and intake off the vehicle?

What would be the best way to untwist this wire and keep it from melting on the O2 sensor itself?

Thanks for the advice in advance!
- Nate

Think the best way is from under the car. Not much room up top. To unwrap the wire. You will have to unplug the sensor and unwrap it. OR take back to the dealer and biitch.

The connector is a b!tch to get to. I think Nissan thought only people with baby size hands would ever need to mess with these connectors. Personnally I'd try taking it to the dealer that did it and make them fix it for free before I'd tackle it myself.
