Do you not need to seal the weather strip when putting it back?

I just did this and here is what I learned. Once the one nut and two bolts are removed there are two clips that hold the light housing on. The top one is blue and the bottom one is red. Grab the light and pull straight back to release the pins on the light housing from the clips on the body of the car. I recommend putting tape on the upper corner of the bumper where the corner of the light meets the body/ bumper. Look carefully at the front corner of my bumper and you will see where the front lower tip of the light chipped the paint. (near the black circle piece).

Hi, did anyone had an issue installing the light back on the car? I am trying to do it and it look everything in the right place but I have a gap that will allow water to get in there. I have only removed one side and the order side looks like sitting closer to the car with no gap. Any ideas?
