I have to have my air vent, so I couldn't do this, but short of an A-pillar gauge pod, this is likely the least invasive option to add a gauge without it looking tacky. Looks great!
Optimiser and SLOPOS like this.

There’s someone on FB making and selling kits for this. I want to put a boost gauge there, though

I've thought about doing this as well. I have a triple gauge pillar that's full but there's still one more I want to add, this always seemed like the best place to do it.

OP - do you maybe have additional pics or information about what exactly did you do with which wires etc.? I'll probably be doing this exactly as you did, as it's just such a brilliant job.

About to embark on the oil pressure gauge install, but first I must buy it!
I found this thing on amazon:
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/RSP-GLED5.../dp/B082QVGGW9

Does anyone know anything about them? This seems to match Nissan OEM gauge style and goes high enough. I was looking online but can't find anything about this company RSP.

Thanks for any input.

Don't know anything about them. But the gauge and the sensor both have to be rated to 150 psi. On cold starts and high rpm, th epressure will be over 100 psi.

Yeah, this gauge is 10 bar, that's 145 psi. I ordered it so I'll post more info once it arrives.

This looks really good.

I have seen the inserts for square type vents where it keeps the vent and gauge however for the Z it looks like unless you can find a smaller gauge it wont work.

Great job over all.
What gauge is that?
