Default Opening door panel on a closed door??

What’s up guys my passenger side door’s actuator gave out with the door locked shut, and now I cannot get it open to replace the actuator myself. Dealership wants to charge $800 to replace it! I really really don’t want to have to pay that much without asking my Z family if the know a way to remove the passenger side door panel while it’s closed! Thank you I’m advance!!! You guys are awesome

While waiting for an answer, see if you can track down a copy of the FSM. Nissan made most places take it down but you may still be able to find one.

Have you simply tried to open it from the inside door handle while also pushing the Unlock button next to the door handle?

NOT the Unlock from the switch on the armrest

It should release the door since thats mechanical.

OR......release the key from the key fob, and unlock the door from the outside by hand will work too.

Manually unlocking something is becoming a lost art.

There is no key lock on the passenger door.
