Default Beep Beep

Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone could throw some knowledge this way!

The Issue I have with my car at the moment is the beeping that goes off when the car is in acc mode with the door open.

So how do I go about silencing that warning?

I don't want to loose any door opening and closing features! Everything else still has to function as normal

There must be a wire going from the body control module to a speaker.

Any tips out there? Has anyone done this before?
Cheers

If you can find a copy of the FSM (Nissan recently had copies taken down), it will have wiring diagrams, harness routing, wire colors, etc.

I doubt that the speaker can be easily disabled (the speaker probably sounds for several different "alarms"), but worth a try.

Good luck.

Does anyone know what section of the manual the module would be hiding in?

Am I right ?

118 p for the brake switch(burnout switch)
Maybe 150 gr for the door switch
But that would prob cut all door features, so feel like I have to try find more info as to what wire from bcm to speaker

It looks like 118P will allow burnouts with the brakes on. There is at least one DIY on this site where you can verify.

The door switch would be one of the last places I would mod to get rid of the beeper - too many other things that depend on that switch.
Now that you have the FSM, you should be able to figure out what inputs are required for the beeper to go off. Maybe you can disable one of the other inputs.

There's a diagram at How to completely disable the VDC . Put the switch in the wire marked "cut here".

Found it by going to DuckDuckGo and adding "site:the370z.com" to my search string. IIRC, I searched for "brake +light +burn site:the370z.com"

Back to the door buzzer, someone asked if its possible to go into the bcm and turn off said warning!
Anyone used a programme to enter a control module and modify preferences?
