It looks like 118P will allow burnouts with the brakes on. There is at least one DIY on this site where you can verify.
The door switch would be one of the last places I would mod to get rid of the beeper - too many other things that depend on that switch. Now that you have the FSM, you should be able to figure out what inputs are required for the beeper to go off. Maybe you can disable one of the other inputs.
