Csf racing radiator
I haven't seen anything on swapping out to the CSF radiator...Wondering if someone has done it in an automatic transmission yet. I had a shop do it for me and now my transmission is slipping on cold starts. They say they replaced haft quart, but is the radiator bigger and need more fluid? And I have to pull it back out by the way, the shop installed it and it had a cracked weld on the condenser, and the shop was going to charge me $1200 to swap them back out since CSF doesn't warranty labor.

I had it done about 2 years ago when they first came out with the tripple pass and was also quoted 1200$ for the install. Actually i was quoted 600$ but by the time the job was finished they wanted to charge me around 1600$ but i refused to pay that so the service advisor got the price down to 1200 (lucky me)...also after this install they asked me not to bring the car back to them because they are not a performance shop and my car had gone beyond what their techs and equipment could handle. After i picked the car up i stopped for gas across the street from the dealership and when i got out I could hear a hissing sound coming from the engine bay. It was the freon leaking out of the radiator so i immediately took it back but the shop had closed and i had to go home..this was after paying 600$ for the radiator and 1200$ for the install. I believe i found out later on the forum that csf used the wrong size bolt which caused the leak. They fixed the issue but it was after i paid around 2k to install a radiator.

Agreed... Is it really $1000 worth of effort to swap the radiator? Haven't tried it....but it doesn't look all that hard.

Also, part of that cost is recharging the AC system.

Yea they were dealing with space constraints considering i had the stillen sc kit and their trans and oil cooler that took up a lot of space up front there. Also csf had given the wrong size bolt or something like that which caused a leak and more time. I believe they charge a little more than 100$hr

I can imagine! Counter to my expectations, I haven't needed one. I suspect only because I don't track (probably the source of many of my non-issues).
