Default Repair Front Chin Spoiler

Most of you with the front chin spoiler might already have a few scuffs. Eventually, I plan on giving it a good detail. I found an article on autopia where a detailer repaired the front lip on a Porsche GT3. It came out pretty good. Basically, he sanded the surface with 400 grit sandpaper and used SEM Black Texture Coating to give it that factory finish.

Here's the article

someone throw up the thread necro pic.

And honestly, pirata, I don't even know the answer to your answer. But while I'm here, I'll throw out there that in the three months I've owned a DD Z, there have been three or four times I've taken sandpaper or a razor to the front chin spoiler just to keep the edges smooth. I figure I'll just gradually shave the thing down to a nub and hope to replace it before it looks ridiculous.

I don't get too worried about that chin spoiler. I think of it more as a gauge to tell when things are getting close. I'll just replace it if it ever gets bad enough.

So...what's worse: dredging up an old thread that pertains to a question you have....or not using the search function and opening multiple threads? I should think opening multiple threads is worse. With that being said, perhaps reviving a dead thread is not so bad, eh guys?
