dose not really help much and cant use it in town

problem with gas pedal is my ankle foot and leg end up in a straight V even in town it sucks - maybe its just how the gas pedal feels like i have to twist my foot to right ?

gas pedal if could be slid down or maybe some company makes custom gas pedal with senor to replace this cheap garbage that is in car.

http://www.the370z.com/members/midn8...-honestly.html

the issue is that unlike most cars where you push form bottom this style you have to push at the very top and it angles off to right, so you have to twist foot to right and push down firmly at the top, - other cars are complete opposite you can rest heal over near brake pedal and just light push down at bottom of gas pedal with your toe and allows acceleration with out any extreme force with whole foot.

if this pedal could be turned upside down it probably be fine more then likely.
at feels like carpal tunnel in my ankle from having to move foot at such extreme angles to reach twist back and forth between the brake and gas pedal constantly.

but this floor mounted gas pedal is just a normal gas pedal that is turned upside down. - if could rotate it it would act and be like a normal gas pedal in normal car.

other thing should happen is break pedal should come down so it its more even or flushed with the gas pedal....

I belive it uses drive by wire -DBW system can any Drive by wire accelerator work on the 370z sense it is just a senor ?

Definitely a custom modification.

I was looking into custom pedals recently and noticed they have heel-toe extensions they can incorporate into the gas pedal thus enlarging it a bit. That may not help your issue, but it's free to look at online (http://www.ultimatepedals.com/pedal.htm).

I wish I could move mine for easier heel-toe action. This car is one of the hardest cars to heel-toe I have ever driven.

o man ur not lieing u should try driving it from WI to keywest and back, 10 hours behind pedal awesome drive great experience but that pedal is killer.

I think main problem is the fact that pedal is upside down.

its floor up so the joint where it hings is at floor - most cars it is at top - and I think honestly that is one of biggest issues. - if could turn it upside down that may help some what make it feel more normal.

i complained to there consumer affairs about it told them in future cars they should try do something about that thing.

so the uses drive by wire, its to bad we can get a universal drive by wire universal that is programmable like lokar has for GM chevy and ford - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lo...6016/overview/

I wish there was option like that where we could mount something we could custom put in and mount in the Z car.

Run the idea across Ryan at RJM. He makes an awesome clutch pedal. He may be looking for more marketable items.
