Default Aftermarket shift knob gap fix.

So i bought a Mugen cf long shift knob and it had approx 1.25" gap from the base to the bottom of new knob.

This is an easy fixer uo to solve that problem. Very cheap and very light.
What you need:

1) Molding clay.( i used crayola air dry. Worked perfect and easy to mold.)
2) Aftermarket knob(obvious lol)
3) drill with proper diameter drill bit(varies in size needed)
4) stock shift knob.
5) sand paper
6) paint of your choice.

Step4:

I made a ring so its recessed into the mold 1/8". Basically i simply pressed the new knob gently into the mold once i had the right diameter.
But not necessary.

Let stand for 3 hours and then drill out the proper size so it slips over the new adapter for the new shift knob.

Step 5:

Test fit. If it slides over the new adapter? Its ready for sanding and paint. I went some old 40th paint I had sitting around.

Final look.
Obviously the more time you take the better it will turn out.
Im not sure if i like the 40th. Probably going to repaint black.
