I recently picked up a dash cam with a rear camera and the bloody thing requires a very short wire to be run to the back of the car.
Running wires under the carpet is very straight forward, but I am having a difficult time figuring out which panels need to be removed to get the headliner off. I'd almost consider running this wire under the carpet just because it's a lot less effort, but the wire's not long enough for that and with the hatch opening the way it does, the only reasonable place to mount the camera is on the ceiling. I cannot find any DIY articles that illustrate removal of the headliner. Any pointers before I start needlessly ripping out half of my interior and weather stripping? |
