Default Liquid Glass Auto Polish

So after I got my Z I wanted to keep the paint nice and clean and have some protection against bug guts, so I began my search for some quality cleaning products and protectants.

Zaino and Adam's were my top two contenders for a while. Though I have used both and I would argue that for most circumstances Adam's is a better deal (takes less product and seems to be easier to use), both products are only available online and are very hard to get to, and also very expensive. The other problem is that it seems almost like you can only use their products in a specific order so you need to buy sets of things.

Well, I wanted something I could pick up locally, and after doing some searching, stumbled upon this thread: My Guide: Wash Polish Wax with Zaino

From there I started searching for this liquid glass stuff and only found "liquid glass auto polish" in some stores around me. I decided to try it out, and it is quite incredible stuff... I washed the car with just simple soap from autozone and then used a McGuire's clay bar to clean up the car as best I could. I did 4 coats initially of the stuff (this was 3 months ago when I bought it) and just washed it recently and added another coat. The first coat went on easily enough, but the second, third, and fourth just got subsequently easier and easier. During this recent wash the bug guts just slid right off with no effort, and the new coat I put on went on even easier than the previous coats I put on (which leads me to believe a new coat wasn't even necessary). The can looks like something from the 70's and I believe people have been using the product with great success for some time. I'll post up some pictures today or this weekend when I get a chance, so you guys can judge for yourself.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pics, but this is all i could get in a timely manner. enjoy

Just an update as well:

It started raining the day before yesterday right after i had taken the car out when clean. I came home later and just left it, so yesterday I went to take a look and sure enough there were water spots everywhere...

I said screw it, and decided to see if liquid glass would hold up against a microfiber cloth with a gorilla behind it trying to rub water spots out. The waterspots came out just fine. I turned off the light and used a bright led bulb to see if there were any scratches left behind or swirl marks, and there were none! - I'll get pictures of this soon enough as well

yeah i know of this product. I've had friends that use it, but i just wanted an option you can buy in the store, without spending too much, and one you can easily mix with other products without worry.

looks great though!
