Removing deep scratches in polished metal?

So I bought some used Stillen G3 intakes and the tubes are all scratched to hell. They work great but cosmetically speaking look like they got keyed, any one know

Default Removing deep scratches in polished metal?

So I bought some used Stillen G3 intakes and the tubes are all scratched to hell. They work great but cosmetically speaking look like they got keyed, any one know of a way to "buff" out the deep scratches?

As an alternative I was thinking of wrapping them in something to hide the blemishes...either some thin sheet metal or something. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. I bought a used set of Gen 3's and the finish was really dull and a few scratches. I used Adam's metal polish and Mother's polishing ball attached to a drill. The finish is nearly as good as new. For the really deep scratches, you'll need to wet sand, then polish back the shine. I'd try a "coarse/severe swirl remover" polish first though and see if that works.
