Default Spot free rinsing setup at home.

Here's my $81 setup I ordered off the internet. The hose on the right is for pre rinse and wash, the left side gives me the spot free final rinse she deserves. It's a two stage water filter setup. The first stage is a 5 micron sediment filter. The second stage is a water softener. When the water softener wears out, I think I'm going to try a De-Ionizing filter. I've seen some other similar setups, much more expensive at the warehouse box stores, then found this gem on a forum, for like Ferraris or Vipers, can't remember. I typically use a leaf blower on the head and tail lights and mirrors and such, run around the block, then work on tire shine, before going back in garage. I can disconnect the hoses on the filters, then lift the filters and bracket off the screws and put back in the garage for storage.

I'm really interested in one of these setup. What kind of flow do you get through it, and where can I buy this?

Default Typically 1.5 - 2 gallons per minute.

Just fine for rinsing, but still a little slow. PM for info.

Just consider yourself lucky for having a hose. I live in an apartment complex so I have to use one of these stupid things. I have to fill 5 gallon buckets in the bathtub and grunt them outside to the car to load it.

I have a similar system but with 4 filters cartridges. I can wash during the evening and let dry over night and no water spots.

You're definitely going to want the de-ionizing cartridge. They are pretty freaking awesome - I had access to one for several years when my buddy lived in the adjacent neighborhood. Now that he's moved away, I regret that I didn't wash my car at his place more often. Since then I've graduated from a cheap leaf blower to MetroVac products.

I had one of these years ago with my G37. Filters went bad decently quick. Maybe they've improved them over the years. let us know how it goes

The deionizing cartridge is for pulling pretty much all contaminants out of the water. It is what makes for a spot-free rinse.

Quick update: the water softener cartridge wasn’t near enough, I purchased and tried the de-ionizer cartridge and it worked perfect. No spots at all, I left the car wet when I drove around the block and then back in the garage, next day all good. You can get the de-ionizing cartridge from the same company on the first post for about $36, used just for rinsing after washing one section at a time, website said you can get about ~100 gallons, then throw away and order another, no recharging or refilling.
