or brake pad dust, that stuff clings to anything

It is very easy to clean vs bare surface I can tell you that. Some APC and Pressure washer and your good to go. No scrubbing required.

Maybe try posting some more info on this. The video didn't show anything but someone pouring water on the back side of a rim...
