Default 2009 Red 370Z Base with Sport Package

Hello everyone! I'm the original owner of my 2009 370Z (hence my join date) and am looking to sell because I bought another daily driver (2016 Jaguar F-Type R). I bought it in 2009 and used it as a daily driver mostly to and from work. For 17 years, I drove it ~35 miles each way to and from work mostly on the highway. It now has 201,732 miles. I was concerned about rock chips, so I had PPF put on the front and mirrors when it was brand new. Thank goodness I did because it did an amazing job of keeping the paint in great shape (PPF is still on the front bumper down). It's in excellent condition, aside from minor imperfections from daily use (let's start a discussion if you want me to walk around the car and point out imperfections...happy to do so as the original owner and I know each and every one!). Mechanically, it's been what I'd expect from a Japanese car...reliable. I'm pretty anal when it comes to maintaining my cars and have clay barred and waxed it on a regular basis. It has never been modified.

I could be wrong, but I think my Z might be the lowest priced 370Z with a clean title in the entire US. I cannot find one cheaper. I'm asking $9,995 on other unnamed car sale websites, but as a car enthusiast speaking to other enthusiasts, I'd would be willing to accept $9,200 (firm). I have ALL service records and 2 FOBs. BRAND NEW Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires have been fitted (not cheap...also fitted them to the F-Type, LOTS of grip). It doesn’t have a single door ding and has never been smoked in. I can email an Excel file with EVERY maintenance visit and additional pictures if you'd like to see.

For the sake of transparency, my Z has had two minor incidents:

• While driving on the highway, a metal object fell out of a truck ahead. It struck the front passenger side bumper, denting the plastic bumper, breaking the windshield fluid reservoir behind the bumper, and cracking the front headlamp. Repairs were done professionally.

• Another car backed into the driver’s side quarter panel where it meets the front door in a parking lot. The impact was minor enough that I touched it up with factory paint.

Other than that...nada. Just a reliable car I drove like a Camry for 17 years on cruise control looking cool going down the highway. FYI...I'm 46. Yes, I drove it like a Camry.

I've gotten lots of inquiries through other sites, so I have to say this now. Serious inquiries only. No trades. I'd prefer show/sell it in person instead of shipping.

Thanks! I bought it in October (I think) of 2009 and have tried to keep it in great shape. I took the PPF off the hood because it was starting to fail. The paint underneath looks brand new. I'm amazed how well it protected the hood. If you look at used 370s, you will notice yellowing on the headlights. Mine does not have that because of the PPF (removed a few weeka ago because it was failing). From the bumper down, it's still covered.

Shame that the body shop couldn't get the bumper to align correctly with the fender and headlight... Really sucks how that accident happened. Still, stupid clean for the age & miles. If only everyone treated their cars like this lol... GLWS!

Agreed. It amazes me what others do on the road. The misalignment is pretty minor at 0.9 cm, so I've never done anything about it. I've considered taking it back to the body shop since they're just around the corner. Maybe I'll do that.

Well, a sale hasn't gone through. I've decided to take it off the market. I need a daily commuter and this beauty has done the job for the last 11+ years. I'm going to keep going. I trust it. Who knows, maybe I'll end up with the highest mileage 370Z out there. 300,000 miles? 400,000? This Z is solid.

On a side note, when I hit 200,000 miles, I sent a note to Nissan USA to let them know how wonderfully reliably my Z has been. I was hoping for a T-shirt or something. They gave me a "congrats."

Happy motoring everyone!

Oh wow, I wouldn't have accepted it like that, and would definitely have them make it right. They got paid to do it right, so should.

I'd keep it and see if you can get to 300k on it.
