People who have lowered their Z in Toronto!
Hey everyone!
Just had a quick question about driving a lowered Z in Toronto, specifically around Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan. Just wondering if its more troublesome driving around? I'm slightly worried about scraping more as I've already scraped a few times driving, nothing too serious but just wanted a quick opinion about it from other ppl. Oh and planning to lower it on Swift Springs.. Thanks lol |

You will learn real quick what you can and can make it up with out scrapping. I find I can tell just by looking at the transition from the road to the hill or incline of the driveway/entrance, that is the most crucial spot in the scrap or not scrap factor. As long as the entrance is wide and you don't have to hit it head on you should be able to angle into most areas with no scrap, especially if you are only planning springs. GL, don't be scared and share some pics

Lol, Can't wait for the weight reduction... but thanks for all the advice/opinions everyone, I'm definitely going to be lowering it on Swifts. Going to wait until after the winter season though.

im one of the lowest static Zs in toronto that isnt stanced out.
i have no problems at all. That said, i dont winter the car (obviously) and i have a splitter which i switch out when it grinds to death. im very slightly lower than this.

do them at the same time so you feel the difference more.

OP, no matter you are lowering it or sway-bar it or both, don't make it too stiff otherwise you will lose traction easily and also the chassis will deteriorate quickly.
