Simple answer is find another shop. Any shop that takes 9.2 hrs to do this job clearly doesn't know what they are doing. All this work should take ~3-4 hrs tops including alignment.

O.O Yeah, what he said. You can do that job in no time.
Or do it yourself. It is really easy. It was my first major project. Just get an estimate on removing the springs from the struts and putting the Swifts on. Don't do that yourself...dangerous. Should take 15 minutes.

3.5 hours to pull the front struts?! You can pop those things out in minutes with the proper tools (pneumatic). One hour is generous.

i think most shops nowadays use "Shop Rate" pricing on labor. This particular shop says they're "Book" says 5 or 6 hrs for the spring swap at $95 an hour. Absurd. They will have it done in 2 hours and charge you for 5

This is a great DIY project. It's really not hard at all if you have access to an Impact gun and a spring compressor. In fact, you can probably barrow the spring compressor from your local Auto Zone. If you look I am sure you can find great you tube video breaking this down in easy to follow steps. Then go get alignment done.

Lol no I own a dealership so I just paid for my mechanics wife and him to go have a nice dinner. Haha one of the perks of working in the car world. Also I could have done it my self but $100 is hard to pass up. While I'll be making 3 times that in the 4 hours it took him to install. 13000 miles later and 4 track visits and it's doing great . Guess some people just get to enjoy not getting butt ****** for everything.
