E Brake, then VDC & Traction indicator stayed lit after hill SF climb
Strangest thing....
So I was driving in SF this last weekend and I had to climb one of those ridiculous hills that's slanted at like 60°. At the end of the hill climb, there was a stop sign and my car's ebrake indicator came on for a sec, which i found weird b/c my ebrake was down. then seconds later my VDC & traction control indicator stayed on and I did not have the ability to toggle it from off to on. So I turned the car off and it resets everything back to normal. Any idea what could have happened? |

with all of the above:
Check your brake fluid level

I just went to my car to check the brake fluid level. It's not low. It's mid point between low and max. My car was going uphill, so if it's anything the fluid would be tilting towards the exit of the reservoir feeding to the lines. Plus looking at the amt of fluid and the shape of the reservoir, I can't imagine fluid being sloshing to the point where it could create this problem.

Hey scruffy. If you are go to track the Z. Make sure your brake fluid level is at the Max line before every session too. This will keep you out of trouble like you just had. But remember when changing to new pads. You might overflow the reservior when you push the pistons back in the calipers. Also the level in the reservior is a good way to tell how far your brake pads are used up too.
