Default Swift springs tommorow

My z gets the swift springs installed tommorow at 9am. I'm a little scared how low the exhaust will sit. 1.2 drop in front 1 in the rear. Cant wait to drive it though. At same time having the brake calipers painted blue. Powdercoat just a hassle to get scheduled. I have the 7inch tablet waiting to fill the cu y hole they're going to custom fabricate some nice carbon fiber. Sounded good well see. The tablet will be next week install. Spring and caliper tommorow.

Weeeeeee......... on ramps should be evenbetter...

also , steering lock replaced by dealer. Awesome. Air bag control module, fixed , free by dealer. No more flashing airbag light, finally.

Peace homies...

I am interested in the results. Are you installing them over the stock shocks?

1.25/1 drop isn't bad. You'll only have to watch out for the big speedbumps and angle a bit on the steep driveways. I've never had to do the back and forth thing the guys that are slammed/bodykitted have to do.

yes these were installed over the stock shocks. so far pretty enjoyable, the ride is actually a bit smoother on my normal daily drive. I do need to avoid any major bumps, especially the ones on 295 near powdermill road, the put up a big sign "SLOW DOWN BUMP". How about fixing the road. infurating. anyway, had it aligned at the dealer this past weekend said they got it as good as they could get it without camber arms.

said if I wanted it perfect would need the camber arms but that I'd be perfectly fine. it was off pretty bad anyway when they showed me the before. Maybe it was that bump on 295.

You need to get a rear camber kit and toe bolts soon. When I dropped mine on swifts without toe bolts and got my alignment done they could only get the toe .15 and .18 in the rear. This resulted in scrubbing my brand new rear tires off in just 5K miles. I just intalled my toe bolts this weekend and got my alignment done today to get the toe near 0 as possible.

Your right rear is close at .08 which is minimal factory spec but running a lot of camber. Your left rear I would be concerned about scrubbing the tire limiting tread life.

yeah I probably will look into it. I have a track day up at NJMP in Millville NJ on the 14th but shortly after that. I'm guess almost another 1G after parts and labor or at least more than 500 but less than 1g. funny when it comes to the car 1K or 2k is like eh yeah, more money into the car. I'f I'm spending it on something else I'm like, WTF that crap is expensive....

Glad to hear it! Might wanna look into the Koni Yellows for OEM like shocks meant to be paired with the Swifts/lowering springs for in the future.

You'll love the look of being lowered too. Camber arms are recommended though...
