bbk with aftermarket 18" wheels

Will a bbk fit with normal 18" wheels? Just wondering if I should sell my current tire and wheel sets and get everything new.

a 14" BBK should be fine on most 18" wheels

I've been researching that quite a bit lately, getting ready to pull the trigger on some BBK or other. There's *some* variance in the wheels themselves too, so if the clearance is tight you should check the BBK mfg's fitment template against your exact model of wheel.

All of that said, what DR_ says seems basically true. For most 18" wheels, most of the front kits w/ 14" rotors seem to fit. I know for my Forgestars, the 14" kits from Wilwood, APRacing, and Stoptech all seem to fit.

Yeah that's what those templates cover. Whether you're gonna end up with the caliper banging into the spokes of the wheel, basically.

Anybody know about the akebono stock sport brakes? I believe they are 14". They seem to be the cheapest route.
