Default Nismo vs S-Tune Suspension

Probably going to pick up OEM upgraded suspension for my Sport Package. Sticking with OEM for N/V/H reasons. Didn't know how different the 370Z Nismo and S-Tune springs/struts were if they are different. My car is my DD and also gets track time. That said, I don't want anything to harsh that's going to rattle the interior apart.

Maybe I should just spend the $ on more tires.

I am not sure you would notice much difference in the S-Tune. If you are planning to track the 370Z, I would first get tires for track use, drive it in the stock class, then look elsewhere for suspension changes.

Parts of the frame are made of ash. Strong, light, durable I'd say more "famous" than "infamous" haha.

And yeah, I should just get out on the track more before worrying about upgrading stuff. SS lines should come beforehand anyways.

Tires will do way more than suspension.

^ I know this having a decent amount of track time, working on a good square setup now.

If it's my money and I'm paying retail for new parts, I'm buying a set of Koni's before I buy S-tune or OEM Nismo. If it's a cheap set of takeoffs, go for it.

I went from the sport/touring springs/struts, to the S-tuned springs/struts. I also added Hotchkis sway bars F/R. I haven't made it back to the track, but on the twisty roads around here, it is running better than before I changed anything. Was it the sways? Was it the stiffer springs/struts? Probably combo of the two, but I like it. It is nice and firm, but not harsh. It can cause your girlfriend to get a little jiggly if the freeway is concrete, and a little bumpy. I won't make it back to the track till April unfortunately.
