Default Subrame bushings...

Has anyone tried these (or similar products) out?

SPL Solid Bushings from HorsepowerFreaks

It is true that our subframe does move around a lot, and so I think these would be a good investment.

All opinions/facts are encouraged and welcome

For now yes, I am planning to track the car with my friend (who has an S2K) starting within the next few months.

Well I suggest just replacing it with an aftermarket one or a newer OEM one. What mileage are you at?

Solid bushings create jaw shattering jolts on a street car, weekend car maybe...

I'd like to get ones made of something other than metal, but I don't see any offered. What brand you got in mind?

I looked into them, but they seem to be only for 350Z... :/

I haven't looked if they make bushings for our cars, but I had Powerflex bushings on my e36 M3 and they were amazing.

Doing a Solid Subframe bushing is no simple task. It takes time and patience to do. If you take the car to a shop, be prepared to pay heavily! The entire rear end of the car has to come out. So brakes will have to be bleed, suspension unhooked and so on.

I have Solid Subframe bushings in my Z32 ( I know it is a different model), but the outcome will be the same. You will be able to put the power down faster, no wheel hop on launches and so forth. The only drawback is you will hear the drivetrain noise A LOT more. [Not near as bad] but go watch an incar video camera of a race car. You will hear every pop, click and whine in the rear end. I am a race car junky and enjoy the noises....my wife not so much.

How many hours in labour do you think that is? 8?

EDIT: I'm looking for bushings like those whiteline makes for the 350z. They're are not solid metal which probably will help out in noisiness.
