Default Suspension input

I'm looking to do some suspension upgrades. I'm looking at getting the Nismo sway bar from Z1. I'm also considering getting the Nismo shocks and springs. Anyone running the Nismo setup? Wondering how the ride quality is and how is it comparable to a coil over set? Is it better to go with a coil over? If so, what is the best set up for under $1,000? Looking for something that has a good ride quality and good for a daily driver. Thanks.

As much as I like touting how great the Nismo's are vs. other Z's, if I was you I'd consider suspension components other than the Nismo stuff. While I don't have any experience with coilovers I can tell you for a fact that the Eibach sway bars made a big improvement on my Nismo.

You can get a set of BC coils for under 1k here from the vendors. Those have great reviews.

Thanks for the replies. I see a lot are running the BC BRs. A local shop recommended the Tanabe coilovers, anyone running these or can provide any insight on them? Also see Whiteline and Eibach are the most popular choices in sway bars. What's the pros and cons of each?

You can PM a member called Triple on the Tanabe coilovers I know he tested them for the company and I think still has them on his car.
The sways are going to end up being based on what you plan to do with the car, auto-x, track, drag, etc.

Ok, thanks for the info. Goal is just to have a better overall handling car with maybe a track day once in a blue moon.

Tanabe coilovers suspension kits are of high performance, I got the set up done by a technician.
