Clunk sound from trunk when fully stopped

Does anyone else experience a small clunk sound when braking to a complete stop?

If you have a Bose system make sure the subwoofer is fastened tightly under the rear hatch mats inside the spare tire.

Common sense says this. Just wanted to see if there was a common issue before hunting.

I had a sound like this when I first got my 350. It took me a few weeks before I figured out my spare was the problem. It wasn't screwed in all the way so it was shifting around when I stopped.

Take everything off your trunk and then drive to check. If it does not disappear, you have a bigger problem.

Probably this. There is a small amount of slop built in from the factory that some hear.

You can recreate the sound by rotating the driveshaft back and forth by hand or by putting the car in neutral (on a flat surface!) and moving the whole car back and forth by grabbing a rear wheel with both hands and turning the wheel forward then stop suddenly and backward repeatedly.

It could also be a CV joint or CV axle nut

I do. But it's just my 3 cans of fix-a-flat that I have under the trunk floor.
