Default Z1 s pro coilover noise

Bought and install z1 s- pro coilover there making tons of noise in back real on both side Im not sure what it is

First install after a day the noise started

2nd time I sent my z to suspension tech had him review the install and he found that my right rear top stud was stripe and wasn’t tighten all the way up so tech had that fix and after the noise still continued.tech made sure everything was tighten even the top hatch nut and still had the noise . He determine that the right rear shock was defective

Once I left tech 2nd time only right rear noise continous and now I’m waiting for 2nd shock to get here but in the waiting process the noise started again on my left rear now

Thank you I’m new to posting it doesn’t let me post video

You should document all defective parts: stripped, wrong size, misaligned, whatever the **** is

Before buying a Z1 product you should know:

1) They aren't manufacturing their stuff

2) They might not even be designing their stuff

3) They might not be testing their stuff before selling it

None of this is necessarily fatal . . . just suboptimal.

Most of their products are re-badged items made by other companies, with variance in quality. Z1 slaps their logo and the some letters and numbers and then hypes up the release

They sold braces that didn't fit and suspension arms that came lose.

I'm not shocked at all that they might be selling coilovers with stripped studs or bolts that can't be tightened or anything at all

A cursory search shows that Z1 coilovers are made by Feal - they've been around, they make coilovers for lots of cars, they use the same parts certain other labels use, just with their own specs. Feal itself seems to be fine generally.

That's the Z1 side

The other side, who the hell is installing your stuff? Have they installed aftermarket coilovers before? Do they work on Z's?

Test drive after pickup before leaving the area, always, and return as soon as possible if an issue is discovered

If anything is stripped or defective on the coilover you need to photograph and document and contact Z1 as soon as possible

Their support has been . . . up and down.

If they don't help you with parts replacement, you can contact Feal directly. They are in California:
https://fealsuspensionstore.com/

I don't know based on your posts if their is a hardware issue, a problem with the car, or a problem with the installer(s)

I doubt the s pro coilovers are made by feal
if they were they would have advertised the crap out of that fact.
But there is no mention of feal on the S-Pro coilover product page

The R-Pro are made by feal, they mention it a ton in the marketing.

Did you reuse the stock lower rubber mounts inside the spring buckets?

I like Z1 it's like an Amazon but for the Z. However a double adjustable coil over for less than 1k with their markup since they are not the mfg. Very sus, they cut corners for sure. A decent quality coilover brand, KW 1 and no adjustment, is 1.7k without the middle guy. I don't know if it's the damper or the install for your specific issue but you'd probably be better off with just changing the springs on the oem or something in the long run.

You need to tell us what kind of noise it is for us to help… squeak? Clunk? Rattle?

Since they’re on sale for $800 again,I’m taking the plunge to hopefully give an improvement over my stock suspension, targeting no more thank 0.5” drop. Curious about anyone’s long term experiences with these.
