BBK upgrade on a 2012 model

Hey guys just a really quick question, im doing some mods on my daily Z and one of them is an Akebono brakes upgrade, currently im waiting for some 57cr

Default Akebono upgrade on a 2012 model

Hey guys just a really quick question, im doing some mods on my daily Z and one of them is an Akebono brakes upgrade, currently im waiting for some 57cr wheels (got the rear ones already waiting on the front ones) so the question is…. If i do the swap right now the oem stock wheels will clear the Akebonos? Any help will be really appreciate it. Thank you

Huh? That was about as clear as mud

Are you asking if stock wheels will clear the stock Akebono calipers? The answer is yes. You said BBK though. Stock Akebono calipers are bigger than base calipers but not generally referred to as BBK. If you have something different it may not fit. Definitely not fitting with base wheels if a 6 piston front.

Excuse my ignorance, I didn’t know about that, yeah im going for the Akebono upgrade sorry for the confusion and thanks a lot for the help.

Akebonos will fit with base 18 inch OEM wheels no problem. You're safe.
