370z convertible air ride trunk set up
I tried searching for other threads in this section but did not find anything. I am looking to set up air ride in my Z in about a week. Given that the trunk opening/view is different than the coupe i would like to see how other verts have their tank and management set up.

Nice. Please take a photo! My installer recommended only 2.5 gallon tank with 2 compressors... they will be running the airline from inside of the car instead of outside because I occasionally track my car. The only problem I foresee is routing through soft top storage area since my too is broken and it is stucked at close position and the tonneau cover is closed. They will attempt to fix the top at the same time if possible...lol

So i dont have pics uploaded/linked yet but here is what was done..
Removed the center foam piece in trunk where the air pump and fix a flat are located and also most of the trunk liner. Set up tank, pumps and management. On the passenger side you remove the kick panel and seatbelt plastics , from the trunk you can feed the wires forward and lines thru the holes for speaker wires that are exposed when liner is removed. From passenger side stick your hand back into the top storage compartment and pull them forward. The rest should be easy enough following manuf instructions |

I ask because I'm curious about how your install was going. I installed my Airlift setup over the winter, along with many other components. Overall the install went well. Ran into a couple issues with faulty valves out of the box but airlift was good enough to replace without hassle. Other than that, the rear bag install stumped me as I did not want to drill into the body to install a rivnut. As far as a trunk pic with all installed components, I only have a roughed in functioning setup currently. I plan on creating a false floor to cover everything but the nice weather came just in time for me to test out the ride!20210422_165403.jpg

That looks nice! I was going to do the install myself but realized that I still have to fix my broken top and also need to install the Height sensor (I am going with 3H system), so I decided to have a shop install it and they will try to trouble shoot the top while at it. Order placed during the sale but still haven't got all the parts yet. Can't wait to put it in.
