Rear Bushings
Looking to upgrade my rear subframe and rear diff bushings. Im leaning towards solid however when im looking at different brands, they all include different number of bushings ranging from 4-6. So what would you guys recommend solid bushing wise for the rear subframe and diff. Would the rear subframe collar still be needed if i go aftermarket bushing?

I used the SPL diff bushings and sub-frame bushings. To do the sub-frame bushings. You have to drop it.

The collars from Z1 are not bad. They stiffen up the rear some. Some had no trouble installing them. A few had to fight with them. You don't have to drop the sub-frame completely out. But you do have to let it down some to get to the top of the bushings. I did the solid diff bushings first and drove the Z for about a year. Didn't notice that much of a change in noise and vibration. I did notice a increase in noise and some vibration with the solid sub-frame bushings. But the Z felt so much tighter in handling.

https://www.splparts.com/09-370z-z34/ I got my parts from 3 Corner Garage. You can shop around to find the best price. The SPL solid bushings replace the rubber bushings all together. The Z1 collars slide into the stock rubber bushings. Meaning that the stock rubber bushing is still in place. The collars slide into the void that's in the rubber bushings. So the collars are not needed with the SPL bushings. There is a spacer plate that comes with the SPL bushings that goes between the sub-frame and body that you have to use.
